Silver ring with whale tail and natural turquoise stone.

RING SIZE
There are two ways to find your ring size:
1. Take a ring that fits you and always measure the diameter from the inside of the ring (discarding the thickness of the ring), as shown in the following figure. This measurement in millimetres will be the diameter. Check the size with the following table.

2. Use a string or paper tape to encircle the finger near the knuckle in a tight but not tight way. Make a mark and what you measure up to the mark will be the measurement in millimetres of the length of the ring. Check the size with the following table.

The Whale Tail ring is composed of a 2 mm ring that ends on one side with a 9 mm wide whale tail shape and on the other side with a natural turquoise teardrop-shaped 4 mm wide and 7 mm long. The ring is one size but as it is open it is adjustable between sizes 14, 16 or 17. It is an ideal ring for nature lovers and specifically the sea and its animals.
Available in 925 sterling silver.

For the Japanese culture it is seen as a symbol of courage and determination. For the ancient samurai it was protection and strength.
In Inuit culture it is a talisman that attracts good luck and protects against evil spirits.
In New Zealand, the Maori consider it a symbol of authority and power and therefore tribal chiefs wear it tattooed. It also symbolizes the connection with the ocean.
In Greek mythology it symbolizes victory in challenges. The ancient Greeks used the whale's tail as a reminder of the human ability to overcome adversity.
In Celtic mythology, the whale is linked to St. Bendran, a navigator who was guided by a whale in a storm. It is therefore considered a spiritual guide and connection to the ocean.
