HUMMINGBIRD PENDANT NECKLACE

This pendant is a cute little hummingbird that represents the joy and energy of this characteristic animal. The size of the bird is 16 mm high by 18 mm wide (from the tip of the wing to the beak), apart from the upper washer to attach the chain. The included chain is 40 cm long but you can change it to 45 cm by leaving a comment before the purchase.

The material is 925 sterling silver with extra rhodium protection and blue, yellow and orange enamel and a 4mm round white cubic zirconia that hangs from the beak.

Symbolic meaning.

The hummingbird, apart from being an energetic and colourful animal, is loaded with symbolism such as joy, vitality and resurrection. In the Mayan culture it signified the connection with the divine as they were believed to be the messengers between the human and spiritual worlds. For the Aztecs it symbolised strength and rebirth as it represented the soul of a brave warrior who fell and rose again.
